Welcome

Our Technology Department strives to provide teachers and staff with the technology resources needed to complete work tasks and improve student learning.  We provide hardware and software repair/maintenance to 1500 workstations.  Over the past few years our Technology Department has made great advances in our school system. The district provides all teachers with modern internet-enabled computers, GroupWise email accounts, and the Microsoft Office 2003 Suite.

We maintain our Novell Local Area /Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) by enhancing data wiring and network equipment.

We provide Internet filtering via our BorderWare server in an attempt to protect students and staff from inappropriate information on the Internet.  It also provides Virus and anti-spam protection our workstations and the network servers.

We also provide support for the District's Student Information System (PowerSchool) which is now in it's second year.

We are  in the process of improving/updating our current work order tracking system with the purchase Track-It which we hope will ultimately speed up our service to you in a timely manner.
