WELCOME TO NYE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOOD SERVICE

Nye County School District offers nutritious meals to all students. Breakfast and lunch are available at all school sites. Our menus meet nutrition guidelines established by the United States Department of Agriculture. The National School Lunch and Breakfast Program is a federally subsidized program. Participation in this program enables us to offer meals at a reduced price or free to those meeting federal income guidelines. You may apply for meal benefits at any time during the school year.

Due to rising food and fuel cost, full price meals are slightly higher this year. Elementary breakfast is $1.00 and lunch is $2.20. Middle school breakfast is also $1.25 and lunch is $2.40. At the high school level the breakfast is$1.50 and lunch is $2.60. Reduced prices remain at .30 for breakfast and .40 for lunch for all grade levels. We appreciate you understanding the need to make these increases occasionally. Thank you for your participation.
